Garrett Riggs, Government Analyst, FDLE; Owner, Atomic Ranch Productions

Dr. Garrett Riggs began his professional writing career in sixth grade by cold-calling Black Stallion author Walter Farley and requesting an interview. He has worked as a journalist and editor for literary magazines, the book trade, and government organizations. He is currently the lead editor in Distance Learning and Publishing at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the CEO of Atomic Ranch Productions, LLC.

Alison Voorhees, CFMP, Advertising Manager, Capital City Bank

Alison Voorhees is a Florida State University alumna (B.A.’02) who has called Tallahassee, Fla. home for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining Capital City Bank as Advertising Manager in 2007, she worked in fundraising and special events for Orlando Ballet and Seven Days of Opening Nights (now Opening Nights Performing Arts). Alison holds the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation and dual master’s degrees in Global Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and the University of Southern California. She also earned an undergraduate degree in Communications and English from Florida State University and has other professional experience in education, government, manufacturing, retail, and sales.
