If you plan to complete the entire 12-hour program, please note the following: At the end of the semester in which you finish the Certificate and after the Registrar has posted your grades for that final semester, email a summary of your coursework to Dr. Stuckey-French. Follow this format to list each course, one course on each line:

ENC 5XXX. Course title. Fall 20YY. Professor ZZZ. 3 semester hours. Grade: A (B, C; S . . .).

Also provide your surface-mail address. The University Registrar will post your completion on your permanent electronic file. Jack Clifford, Editor, Department of English, will mail you the paper document.

Note: We recommend that students who primarily seek an editing skill-builder or professional-refresher course enroll in ENC 5217 (see under 2, below). This workshop counts as a practicum toward the Certificate but has also proven to be a useful stand-alone applied-editing workshop.
